What Does the Coalition Do?
The Big Bend Homeless Coalition facilitates the delivery of services to homeless families and individuals by providing education, advocacy and the coordination of community resources.

Coalition efforts include:

* Tallahassee/Leon County lead agency for the State of Florida Office on Homelessness

* Hunger Networking meetings

* Emergency Assistance Programs

* Educate Homeless Children and Youth

* Initiated planning for Computers

* Comprehensive Homeless Assistance Plan for the State of Florida

* Secure $2 million

* Developed plans - Comprehensive Human Services Center
